'At This Rate' booklet
A booklet produced to raise awareness of the destruction of the Amazon rainforest for the US-based charity Rainforest Action Network (RAN). Each booklet is made from only one sheet of FSC certified paper, folding out from the cover into a 12-page concertina, maximising the sheet and minimising waste. Proceeds go to RAN. Matt Willey
Creative Director, Studio8 Design
Matt studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins in London, graduating with honours in 1997. Having gained valuable experience at a handful of small design companies he joined the internationally acclaimed studio Frost Design, where he worked on award-winning projects for clients including the Swiss Re Centre of Global Dialogue, Zembla magazine, and D&AD. In 2004 he was appointed Creative Director of Frost Design (London) and, with fellow Creative Director Zoë Bather, took charge of the studio and its projects.
In 2005 he co-founded Studio8 Design with Zoë Bather.
Matt’s work has been widely published and featured in the acclaimed exhibition ‘Communicate: British Independent Graphic Design since the Sixties’. He has won numerous honours, including Silver Awards from the Society of Publications Designers and The Art Directors Club. Whilst his portfolio covers a wealth of design disciplines, he has earned a reputation as an accomplished editorial designer and is a guest lecturer on the subject at the Skolen for Visuel Kommunikation, Højer, Denmark.
